In the presence of the Deputy Minister of Social Solidarity, the
President of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work,
and the President of the Central Agency for Organization and
Administration, our college signs a cooperation protocol with
the Masr El Kheir Foundation to establish a master’s degree in
Community Resource Development and Investment and launch the
first interactive educational platform to support the
sustainability of civil work.
Under the umbrella of the National Alliance for Civil
Development Work, Engineer Margaret Sarofim, Deputy Minister of
Social Solidarity, on behalf of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of
Social Solidarity, attended the closing ceremony of the first
round of the Institutional Excellence Grant for Civil Society
Organizations 2024, which was held yesterday, Sunday, October
13. It was organized by Masr El Kheir Foundation, in the
presence of Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical
Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Development Work,
Dr. Saleh El Sheikh, President of the Central Agency for
Organization and Administration, Dr. Mohamed Refai, CEO of Masr
El Kheir Foundation, and Dr. Mohamed Mamdouh, Head of the Civil
Society Development Sector.
During the ceremony, a cooperation Protocol was signed between
the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo
University and the Masr El Kheir Foundation, aiming to establish
a master’s degree in Community Resource Development and
Investment and to launch the first interactive educational
platform to support the sustainability of civil work. The
protocol was signed on behalf of the Faculty of Economics and
Political Science by Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Ismail, Vice Dean for
Community Service and Environmental Development, and by Mr.
Mohamed Refai, CEO of Masr El Kheir Foundation. Also, Prof. Dr.
Noura Atef Obeid, Professor of Public Administration at the
faculty and coordinator of the protocol participated.
Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat and
Executive Director of the National Alliance for Civil
Development Work, praised the political leadership's focus on
human development. She noted that the slogan of Masr El Kheir
Foundation, "Human Development is Our Main Mission," aligns with
the Presidential Human Development Initiative. She commended
Masr El Kheir for expanding from human development to
institutional development, reflecting the foundation's strong
interest in building people.
Prof. Dr. Hanan Mohamed Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Economics
and Political Science, emphasized that the cooperation protocol
is part of an important network of cooperation agreements that
connect the faculty with various academic, research, and
development institutions. Through these agreements, the faculty
aims to enhance its mission of utilizing knowledge to serve
society and to provide the latest educational, research, and
community services in the fields of economics, statistics,
political science, public administration, and social computing,
in line with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial
Revolution. The faculty is committed to using distinguished
human resources, modern technological methods, and strong
developmental partnerships to meet labor market needs and
sustainable development requirements. This protocol supports the
faculty’s vision of becoming one of the leading institutions in
fourth-generation universities in education, research, and
community service, on par with its prestigious international
counterparts
