FEPS Student Union organized event entitled “FEPS Careers Week” for qualifying students to labor market
.

One of the most important problems facing the university student at the beginning of joining his college is the problem of determining career path, where the students are usually confused between many careers, not to mention the ignorance of some of them.

From here the idea of FEPS Careers Week was born, which was meant to the students of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science under the leadership and organization
 of the Students' Union.

FCW was designed to deliver the fields that the graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science works at, through a number of seminars and workshops.
Throughout the first week of the month of February 2020. The special thing in this event is the quality of the trainers. We have chosen carefully the best coaches in Egypt
in several fields, and the diversity of speakers between the owners of startups, and employees at the ministries and those who work in non-governmental organizations,
research centers and international organizations such as the United Nations, as well as instructors at the highest training Egyptian institution, The National Training Academy.
For those who don’t know National Training Academy, it is the responsible academy for training the members of the presidential programs, for leadership and specifically the
 youth category.

In the first day of the event “FEPS Careers Week”, there was three seminars held; first in the field of E-Marketing it was given to us by Mr. Sherif Shafie owner and founder of
“The Influencers” company, the second seminar was on the field of information technology, IT and the third was about the field of human resources, HR.

At the second day we hosted Mr. Ahmed Askar, assistant researcher at Al Ahram Center for Political and Strategic studies and also a graduate of the college, to tell us
about the work in political research centers.

As well as Alaa Maghrabi, the college graduate who told us about working in the field of development, and in particular non-governmental organizations. At the end o
f the day one of our trainers gave us training content for the training of trainers’ course.

On the third day Rania Said owner and founder of Eventy startup discussed with us about entrepreneurship and how to start and manage an emerging company.

Also Mrs Enas Hammad and Mr. Ahmed Wahdan who are working in the United Nations Volunteers program seminar under the title "How to become a volunteer in
the United Nations”.

The fourth day was a wonderful day, as how the trainees said about it, two coaches at the National Training Academy. Dr. Nour El Zaini and Dr. Hany Hafez.
They gave us two workshops about presentation skill, negotiation and communication skills. At the end of the day the trainees received a workshop on leadership skill.

On the last day us the senior consultant to Environment Minister, Dr. Hussein Abaza, gave us a seminar on sustainable development and climate change, and we
gave him the shield of the faculty as a greeting for him for accepting our invitation. We finished our event with a workshop for public relations.

In addition, the participation of the advocates of sustainable development goals which affiliated to the United Nations in Egypt. They have participated by a booth to
spread the awareness between the students about sustainable development goals: its history and its importance and how to implement them.

The Students’ Union of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science will continue to follow in the same reliable footsteps, which always seeks to serve students and
develop their capabilities, under our vision which is “qualifying students for the labor market and reduce the gap between education and the labor market”.
