If I may speak, what left in my mind
and conscience the distinctive imprint
is the teaching style itself, how could
it not, and Dr. Ahmed Youssef
Ahmed was the first to teach me. You
cannot deal with this man without
leaving your own imprint, a scientific
and human imprint, Dr. Mustafa
Kamel El-Sayed, that man with a
unique way of teaching, was
accustomed to providing an
opportunity for dialogue, especially
since the course was about
development experiences in the
world. That open material in the
presence of that open-minded
intellectual familiar with the culture
of the West with regard to the
acceptance of dialogue, he was
accustomed to choose an issue and
put forward his opinion, and who has
a different opinion, he only has to
present and discuss it, I was one of
the students encouraging dialogue
and I was always dialogue and ask
questions, ideas and opinions.

I remember that one day I had missed
attending a lecture, and soon the lecture
had begun, as he took the initiative to
say: “Where is Salah?” As soon as he
learned that I was not coming, he
insisted that one of my colleagues go to
wake me up at the dorm, and I promised
him since that day that this absence will
not be repeated again, and since then I
cannot write an article without
remembering him. I also cannot forget
Dr. Ali Ahmed Abdel Qader, professor
of political theory and vice dean of the
faculty at the time, he was a wonderful
person. Dr. Kamal Al-Menoufi, Dean of
the Faculty and Professor of Political
Systems, I remember that in his first
lectures, he designed to select two
students, with a blue collar on the one
hand and a white collar on the other,
indicating that he needed a student
representing the interests of aristocrats,
and another representing the working
class and peasants, choosing one to
represent the interests of the aristocracy
was an easy and honorable process,
while that ease was not available as we
looked at the blue-collar, and no one,
raised a pinky except me,
