Second: Research topics that have the priority in being funded

1.      Multidisciplinary scientific researches which include two or more disciplines of the faculty’s major scientific departments.

2.      Researches that are conducted based on the faculty’s scientific research plan. The latest updated research plans are available in the scientific departments Chairs’ offices and the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research Office.

3.      Researches that tackle the problems that currently confront the Egyptian society.

First: Aim

Funding the research projects that are carried out by the faculty members & teaching assistants, and scheduled to be published in international and indexed scientific journals. This helps to contribute in raising the Cairo University ranking.

Fourth: Who is eligible to apply?

1.      Faculty members and Teaching assistants

2.      Priority shall be given to multidisciplinary researches.

Third: Research expenses that can be funded

 1.      Funding the costs of collecting the scientific material needed to carry out the research.

2.      Funding the purchase of computer software, or books and literature/references needed for the research (under the condition of being recent and unavailable at the faculty).

3.      Funding the international publication fees, given that the research will be/is published in a scientific journal indexed in Thomson Reuters or Scopus databases; according toi the faculty’s international publication requirements.

 All grants are provided in return of invoices, and in installments.

Fifth: Application Documents:

1.      The research project; according to the application form approved by the executive committee of the scientific research development project.

2.      The curriculum vitae/resume of applicant(s).
