 5- A group of 14 German students came to Egypt for one month (mid-September to mid October 2012) and attended courses in three fields:  Human rights and Shariaa, Islamic Finance and Introduction to Islamic jurisprudence in FEPS.

6- The first conference on law and economics in the MENA Region was supposed to be conducted in Cairo University on 29-30 September 2013, but also due to security situation in Egypt this was canceled, and the workshop was held in Hamburg – Germany during the period 7-9 November 2013. (8 professors and assistant professors and assistant lecturers participated in this workshop as follows:

8- 1 Assistant Lecturer (Dalia Fadaly) went to Hamburg for three months (August- October 2014) for an academic internship, where she works as a researcher and as a teaching assistant in the Institute of Law and Economics. The aim of this internship is capacity building to prepare a new generation t lead the field of Law and Economics in FEPS.

9- The project involved Tunisia (University of Sousse) and the German University of Cairo (GUC) as members in the Partnership project.

10- Issuing the first textbook on Institutional Economics in Arabic. The first translation phase of the textbook was completed in 2012. In 2013, the second phase of translation and revision is performed. A printed edition is scheduled by end of year 2014.

11- Prof. Ahmed Ghoneim (Project Coordinator) has prepared the outline and the material for the first masters program in law and economics to be conducted in FEPS based on the material and outline of the same program available in Hamburg, and we are now in the process of having the acceptance from the university on the program.

12- Assistant Lecturer Ms. Asmaa M. Ezzat will be temporarily the coordinator of the exchange program instead of Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim due to his travel for a long period.
